Saturday August 27th, 2011 Busti, NY: The final night of points racing was sponsored by the House of Television featuring double points and a Race of Champions in every division.

            Lee Meyers ran from green to checkers for his first Spectator win of the season, Paul Nelson became the 2011 Spectator Champion and Meyers beat Nelson to the line to win the Spectator Race of Champions.

            Chad Carlson won his fifth feature of the season with a last lap pass of Tyler Green and became the 2011 Outlaw Cadet Champion. Steve Kania won the three lap Outlaw Cadet Race of Champions.

            Dutch Davies nipped Rich Gardner on the final lap to win his second feature of the season and his first Super Late Model Point Championship. Dave Scott won the Super Late Race of Champions.

            Joe Buccola Jr. won the Super Sportsman point title and Wade Watson scored the feature win his first of the season. Ben Burgess Jr. proved why he has five feature wins on the season by winning the Sportsman Race of Champions.

            Ed Carley became the first Crate Late Model Champion at Stateline and won his third feature of the season. Justin Tatlow won the Race of Champions.

            Greg Johnson won the point Championship and Leonard Enos won his first E-Mod feature then went on to lead every lap of the E-Mod Race of Champions.

            Kyle Jackson won his second Super Challenger feature and Jimmy Diabo won the Challenger Championship and Austin Karash won the Race of Champions.

Josh Crull and Lee Meyers were on the front row of the Spectator feature and Meyers took the early lead with Crull second. Todd Bacon came from fifth to second on the second lap as Meyers moved away from the rest of the field. The first yellow of the event collected Cody Bliss and Matt Sampson. A three car tangle ended the restart in turn two with Ken Lamp Jr., Sam Conti and Jason Covey involved. Mohawk spun collecting Mike Moon and Paul Nelson for yellow number three. Moon was second in points and Nelson was the point leader. Lap six ended with Moon facing the wrong direction in turn three for the fourth yellow. Moon had to beat Nelson by 7 spots to have a chance at the point championship but was now last in the field with Nelson four positions ahead. A spinner slowed the race on lap 7 with Myers still in control. Brian Crandall was third and Bacon second. Meyers completed the final lap for his first win of the season and Nelson won the point race for his first Spectator championship.

 A multi-car incident on lap three of the Outlaw Cadet Double point feature event collected nearly half the field. Tyler Green was the leader with Chad Carlson second and Steve Kania third. Carlson passed Kania on lap four and had Green squarely in his sights. Carlson was the point leader and second in points Ryan Scott in fourth. At the half way point Carlson ad settled into second trailing Green by two car lengths with Kania about five lengths back in third. Carlson was looking for away around Green when Stan Davis Jr. spun in turn four for the second yellow with twelve of the twenty laps complete. Carlson muscled under Green on lap sixteen and Green came back for the lead as the lap ended. Green took the white along side Carlson who made his final charge beating Green to the checkers locking up the Outlaw Cadet Championship.

 Rich Gardner was on the pole and became the early leader in the Super Late Model feature with Scott Gurdak second and John Lacki third. Chris Hackett second and point and Dutch Davies the point leader were fourth and fifth. Gurdak was on a mission and was alongside the leader on lap six and led by a nose on lap eight. Gardner did give up fighting back to the lead on the next lap. Hackett was third with Davies fourth and Lacki being pushed by Randy Lobb for fifth. Gurdak began to slow letting both Hackett and Davie by with 10 laps remaining. David Scott became a player moving into firth with six laps remaining. Eck slowed on the speedway with two laps remaining for the first yellow of the race. Gardner’s lead disappeared as the field closed with him for the final two laps. Davies was second with Hackett third, Scott fourth and Gurdak fifth. Bumping and banging on the restart ended with Darrel Bossard sideways in turn four for yellow two. Gardner took the white then Greg Oakes had problems setting up a one lap dash for the win. All Davies had to do to win the championship was keep Hackett in sight. Davies made the right moves in turn three after Gardner left the bottom open to nip Gardner at the line for the win and assuring the point title.

Wade Watson quickly build a sizeable lead over the Super Sportsman feature which disappeared when Brent Crandall spun in turn four with three laps complete. Watson remained the leader after the restart with Clint Brady second and Allen Haskins third. Point leader Joe Buccola Jr. was racing with Dan Nocero for fourth. Nocero passed Brady for the runner up spot with five laps remaining but fell ten car lengths short of catching Watson. It was Watson’s first win of the season and Joe Buccola Jr. clinched the Sportsman Championship.

Wendell Pinckney tangled with the back stretch fence on the first lap of the Crate Late Model event causing a complete restart. Ed Carley and John Haggerty were on the front row with Kyle Scott last week’s winner and Matt Harvey in row two. John Haggerty tucked in behind Carley on the start. Scott nearly ran over Haggerty as the lap ended causing the field to scramble leaving Pinckney sideways in turn three for yellow two. After the third attempt lap one was finally complete with Carley, John Haggerty and Scott were the leaders. Pinckney spun causing caution three with four laps down. Yellow three followed four laps later as Brian Haggerty had spun between turns three and four. Dennis Lunger lost a right rear wheel with nine laps complete. Carley was firmly in control with John Haggerty a distant second followed by Chad Valone, Lacki and Steve Dixon. Pinckney, Brad Mesler and Brian Haggerty caused the sixth yellow leaving five laps to go. Dixon started a charge on the restart getting to third in one lap to challenge John Haggerty for second. When the checkers flew Carley became the first Crate Champion at Stateline after his third win.

 Leonard Enos was the first across the line in the E-Mod feature. Dan Davies stopped up against the turn three fence causing the first yellow. One lap was complete with Enos, Tim Peterson, Dave Lyon, Dave Shagla and John Boardman the leaders. John Boyd, Randy Raynor and Ben Asel were caught up in a wreck on the restart for yellow three. Ron Seeley made hard contact with the turn three fence with three laps complete for yellow four. Lyon was second after the restart as Enos continued to lead. At the halfway mark Enos was five car lengths ahead of Lyon with Peterson third and Brent Rhebergen fourth. With five to go Rhebergen was a distant third as Lyon chased Enos. Lyon caught Enos on the final lap but could not make the pass giving Enos his first win in an E-Mod. Greg Johnson was crowned the point Champion.
