Busti, NY: Thirty Super Late Models were on hand for the Arthur R Gren/Smirnoff/Sunoco Race Fuels "33" at Stateline Speedway. Three ten lap heats set the field for the 33 lap event. Rod Maloy, Dick Barton and Bump Hedman were the heat winners and after the redraw Chris Hackett the third place finisher in the heat number three won the pole starting spot. Dave Hess Jr. was started second took the lead at the start and survived nine restart to win his second of the season leading from green to checkers. Glenn Slaney continued to dominate the Spectator win column getting number seven for the season. Chad Carlson used a late race restart to win his fifth of the season in the Budweiser Super Sportsman. Justin Carlson easily won his tenth E-Mod feature event. Bob Vogt Jr. led every lap of the Outlaw Cadet feature for his first win. Steve Keith Jr. won the first Super Challenger feature for his first win on his third start. Alex Froman won his fourth in the second Challenger feature. Jennifer Weagraff was a first time winner in the Lady Challenger feature.

Chris Hackett, Dave Hess Jr., David Scott, Merle Terry, Mike Knight, Doug Eck, Bump Hedman, Dick Barton, Rod Maloy and Scott Johnson were the top ten starters. Hess took control on the first circuit with twenty-nine late models giving chase. Hackett was second with Scott third, Eck Fourth and Terry fighting Barton for fifth. Hess was into lap traffic on lap five with nearly a straight away advantage over Hackett when the yellow flew for Ward Schell in the exit of turn four. Hess, Hackett, David Scott, Terry and Hedman were the top five for the lap seven restart and twenty-eight cars remained on the speedway. Hess took off after the restart rebuilding his previous lead. Lap traffic became a problem for the leaders on lap twelve then two laps later Randy Shearer slowed to a stop on the front stretch for the second caution. John Volpe, Wendell Pinckney and Chad Valone brought out the yellow right after the green. Hackett tested Hess on the restart but could not make the pass. One more lap was completed when the yellow flew for Ron Davies who made contact with the turn two concrete. Once more Hackett tested Hess but Hess remained the leader. Pinckney and Shearer tangled for the fifth yellow with eighteen laps complete. Schell was spun into the infield after the restart for yellow number six. The race ran green for several laps when Paul Briggs made heavy contact with the wall in turn one bringing out the red flag. Briggs exited the car okay. Hess controlled the lap twenty-three restart with Hackett chasing. Eck got out of the groove in turn two on lap twenty-five and fell back seventh. Scott Gurdak did a rare spin for yellow seven with six laps remaining. Hess, Hackett, David Scott, Johnson and Maloy were the top five for the restart. Hess moved to the top of the speedway and once more pulled away from Hackett and the rest of the field. Ryan Scott brought out the eighth caution with three laps remaining. Hess ran the final three unchallenged winning the $3,300 and all the lap money for his second win of the season.

Justin Carlson edged out Al Crocker at the start finish line to lead the first lap of the E-Mod feature. The yellow flew before the second lap was complete. Nathan Short put Crocker back to third on the restart and two laps later the yellow flew for Brett Van Guilder. Short and Carlson ran side by side for the two laps before Carlson was able to grab the top spot. Jamie Earhart stopped on the back stretch for caution three. Matt Swanson did a slow spin collecting Kyle Scott, Vaughn Nystrom and Van Guilder for caution four and Troy Carr caused caution five. Carlson, Short, Crocker, Ron Seeley and Chuck Frye led after the restart. Carlson easily won the event for his tenth win in seventeen starts.

Gary Bedow Jr. and John Kelsey brought the Spectator division on to the speedway for their feature event. A ragged start was led by Kelsey and the yellow flew for Berton Chapel in turn one on lap two. One lap after the restart several cars spun in turn three for the second caution. Kelsey, Jason Genco, John Galati, Glenn Slaney and Aron Dascomb were the leaders after the restart. Slaney was third at the halfway mark with Kelsey leading and Genco third. Slaney beat Genco into turn three on lap ten taking over the second spot and one lap later Genco slowed as the yellow appeared for Doug Moore. Kelsey lost several spots with two laps remaining setting Slaney, Dascomb and Rick Thompson as the top three. Slaney ran the final laps unchallenged for his seventh win.

Rookie Steve Kania and veteran John Boardman were on the front row for the Budweiser Super Sportsman feature and Boardman jumped to the early lead. Ben Burgess lost the handle while running second allowing the entire field by on lap five. Chad Carlson, Bob Hazzard, Aaron Robinson and Kania chased Boardman at the half way mark. Carlson caught Boardman on lap eleven and as the leaders were getting the two to go signal Rusty Briggs slowed causing the first and only caution of the event. Carlson made his move after the restart passing Boardman for the lead and his fifth of the season.

Bob Vogt Jr. led lap one of the Outlaw Cadet feature with Leonard Enos second and Lester Shoff third. Shoff passed Enos with three laps complete then point leader Mike Moore did the same one lap later. Vogt had a four car length lead at the half way point with Shoff and Moore trailing. Moore passed Shoff for second as Vogt took the checkers for his first career Outlaw Cadet feature win.
