Busti, NY: The featured event at Stateline Speedway was the Arthur R Gren/Budweiser Super Sportsman Championship race. Don McGuire started fourth in the Championship race and took the lead on lap four for his first win of the season. Scott Gurdak passed early leader George LaBarbera to win his second Super Late Model feature. Rick Thompson won his sixth Spectator feature from his eleventh starting spot. Nathan Short won his fifth Outlaw Cadet feature passing early leader Steve Moynihan on a lap four restart. Don McGuire started fourth in the Super Sportsman Championship race and took the lead on lap four for his first win of the season. Quincy Turner led every lap of the E-Mod for his fourth win and his second in a row. Sam Courson won his first Super Challenger feature of the year in their first feature and Paul Nelson won his third in the second feature. Stephanie Hilyer led every lap of the Lady Challenger feature for her fourth win of the season.

Scott Gurdak and George LaBarbera were on the front row for the Super Late Model feature. LaBarbera led the first lap with Gurdak second. Bump Hedman grabbed second on lap three just before debris brought out the first yellow. LaBarbera stayed out in front after the restart with Hedman second and Gurdak, Dick Barton and Rich Gardner contesting the third spot. Doug Eck moved into the fray on lap six grabbing the fifth spot. Eck tagged Barton on lap nine for the second yellow. LaBarbera, Hedman, Gurdak, Randy Lobb and Gardner were the restart leaders. At the half way point Hedman was pressing LaBarbera for the lead. A lap fourteen spin by John Volpe brought out the third yellow. Gurdak gained the upper hand on Hedman after the restart using the high groove to grab second then two laps later passed LaBarbera coming out of turn two for the lead. LaBarbera slowed on lap two falling back to fifth as Gurdak stretched his lead. Gurdak, Lobb, Hedman and Gardner were the top four with two to go. Gurdak held on for his second win of the season.

Bob Hazzard started second and led the first lap of the Budweiser Super Sportsman Championship race. Hazzard suddenly slowed on lap three bringing out the yellow and sending Kelly Frederes to the point with Don McGuire second and Chad Carlson third. Chris Kuschel grabbed second on the restart then the yellow flew on lap five for Tim Nocero. Don McGuire led the restart. Carlson passed Kuschel for second on lap seven as McGuire led. Rusty Briggs stopped on the back stretch causing the third yellow with ten of the twenty laps complete. Two laps later while running fifth Joe Buccola Sr. spun for yellow number four. Bob Van Arsdale slowed on the next circuit for the fifth yellow. Rusty Briggs got out of shape causing several cars to spin to avoid him for the sixth yellow with six laps remaining. McGuire led the final six for his first win of the season.

Doug Moore and Rodney Thoms were on the front row for the Spectator feature. Thoms led the first lap with Moore second and Stan Davis third. Thoms had a miscue on lap four losing the lead to Moore and Glenn Slaney had come from tenth to third. The yellow flew for Dave Johnson on lap six. Thoms and Slaney made contact on the restart and again one lap later giving Rick Thompson the lead and bringing out the yellow. Slaney suffered a flat in the incident. Thompson, Aron Dascomb, Clarence Dickerson, Bill Reeves and Wade Watson were the restart leaders. In three laps Slaney was fifth after starting in the rear. Thompson led straight away with one to go and cruised to the checkers for his sixth win. Thompson was crowned the 2006 Spectator Champion.

Leonard Enos stopped high in turn two collecting several cars on the second lap of the Outlaw Cadet feature. Steve Moynihan was the leader followed by Kelly Frederes, Paul Norman, Lester Shoff and Nathan Short. Frederes slowed on lap two falling back to the fifth spot. The yellow flew on lap four for Norman who had problems getting through turn four. Short went to the front on the restart placing Moynihan in second followed by Shoff, Frederes and point leader Mike Moore. Moore moved up to fourth at the half way mark. Enos spun in two collecting Norman for the third yellow with eight laps complete. Moore gained third as the yellow flew for Todd Church. Twelve laps were complete. Cliff Lanphere, Church and Eugene Bevil brought out the fifth yellow. With one lap remaining Lanphere spun in turn four for the finial caution of the event. Short crossed the line first with Moynihan just nipping Moore for second.

Thirty E-Mods took Mark Matthews green flag for their feature event. Quincy Turner led the first circuit with Nathan Short second and Al Cressley third. Chuck Frye and Tim Peterson tangled on lap six for the first yellow. One lap later point leader Justin Carlson got caught up in a wreck and came to a stop under the car of Greg Johnson for the second yellow. Carlson pulled into the pits during the yellow then rejoined the field before the restart to stay on the lead lap. Turner remained the leader with Short and Cressley in tow. Kevin Decker, Troy Carr and Carl McKinney were fighting for the fourth spot. The yellow reappeared on lap eleven for Jake Halpainy. Wayne Anderson slowed two laps later for the fourth yellow. Brain Fardink, Al Crocker, Andy Sweetland and Jamie Earhart brought out yellow number five nearly blocking the track on the back stretch. Turner continued to control the race after the restart finishing the final laps unchallenged for his fourth win.

Steve Keith Jr. brought out the first caution on lap two of the first Super Challenger feature as Jacob Seekings lead. The yellow reappeared for debris one lap later. Brandon Pierce passed Seekings on lap three and one lap later Ron Reichardt made hard contact with the front stretch wall for yellow number three and on the restart Mike Genco spun to a stop in turn two for caution four. The leaders tangled on the restart putting Jesse Dash first. Sam Courson became the new leader on the next restart and managed to stay in front on the final two laps to win his first of the year.

Greg Rockwell went to the front at the start of the second Super Challenger feature. Paul Nelson was second. The yellow appeared with two lap remaining for Steve Samuelson stopped in turn four. Nelson passed Rockwell on the restart and led to the white flag with Rockwell second and Crocker third. Nelson held on for the win his third of the season.
