Busti, NY: American Racer/Lias Tire sponsored the final race night at Stateline Speedway featuring double for all of the divisions.

Carl Marcy came from twenty first to win the Spectator feature on the final lap beating race long leader Buzz Phearsdorf to the checkers. Alex Froman the point leader finished fourth to win the Spectator point title.

Chad Valone held onto his Super Late Model King of the Hill Challenge title defeating Randy Lobb in the five lap match race.

Kelly Frederes held off a late race challenge by point leader Mike Moore for his second win in the Outlaw Cadet feature. Moore won the point title. Ben Burgess used the last race night of the season to get his first ever Super Sportsman feature win. Greg Johnson used a third place finish to capture the E-Mod point title as Nathan Short cruised to his third feature win of the season.

Darrell Bossard came from sixth to win the Super Late Model event passing Merle Terry on lap eighteen for his second win of the season.

Stephanie Devereaux won the Lady Challenger feature and Stephanie Hilyer won the point title.

Shawn Seekings won the first Super Challenger feature and Steve Keith Jr. won the second. Keith also captured the point title beating Rick Karash by 3 points.

Michele Swabik and Mrs. Kuschel won Powder Puff races. Ricky Thompson, Buck Hilyer, Jake Halpainy and Scott Kuschel won the mechanic races.

Buzz Phearsdorf ran away from the field at the start of the Spectator feature. The yellow flew with three laps complete for Mike Moon. Point leader Alex Froman started eighteenth and was seventh. Froman needed to finish within two spots of second in points John Boyd to claim the 2007 Championship. The green was quickly followed by the second yellow for a multi-car wreck in turn two. Phearsdorf, Gary Fisher, Brown and Stan Davis were the leaders. The restart was a repeat of the last with the yellow quickly following the yellow for Phil Regner and Moon nosed into the backstretch wall. Phearsdorf continued to control the event with Fisher five car lengths back when the fourth yellow flew. Seven of the fifteen laps were complete. The fifth caution occurred before the eighth lap could be completed. Brown was involved in the incident and was towed from the speedway. After two attempts lap eight was completed with Phearsdorf out front. Aron Dascomb spun with ten laps complete for the sixth caution. Three laps later several cars tangled coming out of turn two for caution seven. Carl Marcy grabbed second from Fisher on the restart then moved up to the high side on the final lap passing Phearsdorf coming out of turn four for the win.

The yellows continued into the Outlaw Cadet event with Skip Jackson losing the handle before the first lap could be completed. Pole sitter Buck Marrs make slowed with a flat bringing out the second yellow with two laps complete. Adam Hilyer was the race leader with Paul Himes second and Leonard Enos third. Enos slowed right after the green then Himes spun in turn four and the yellow flew for the third time. Hilyer, Brian Crandall and Troy Dorman were the leaders for the lap four restart. Hilyer lost several spots on the restart as Kelly Frederes grabbed the lead with Crandall second. Just as point leader Mike Moore moved into third Crandall did a solo spin but the green stayed out. Frederes, Moore and Steve Moynihan were the top three. With two laps to go Moore moved up along side Frederes and they completed the last two laps side by side with Frederes coming to the line just ahead of Moore.

Don McGuire and Jim Leonard were on the front row for the Super Sportsman feature. Rusty Briggs spun on the first lap. The lap was counted with McGuire the race leaders and Ben Burgess second. Burgess beat the veteran McGuire to take the lead on lap four. Steve Kania pulled into the infield on lap eight retiring from the event. Burgess remained on top with John Boardman second and Kelly Frederes third as the two to go signal was given. Burgess easily beat Boardman to the finish for his first ever Sportsman feature win.

Nathan Short immediately began to out distance the field as the green flew for E-Mod main event. Dave Lyon was second with Dennis Lunger third. Point leader Greg Johnson passed Lunger for third on lap three then grabbed second two laps later just before the caution flew for Cale Crocker who spun down the back stretch. Six laps were complete. Short beat Johnson to turn one on the restart to remain in control Scott Gurdak was third and Tom Hagberg fourth. Gurdak and Johnson were side by side with two to go and stayed that way to the checkers with Gurdak getting the spot as Short cruised to his third win of the season. Point leader Johnson finished third winning the point title.

A first lap yellow marred the Super Late Model feature event. Ted Kosinski lost a wheel and was towed from the speedway. Greg Johnson led the first circuit then a spin by Mike Bihler brought out the third yellow. Ryan Scott was scored as the leader with Johnson second and Merle Terry third for the restart. Darrel Bossard sent Johnson to fourth grabbing third on lap three. Terry passed Scott for the lead on lap four then one lap later Bossard moved him back to third. Randy Lobb caused caution number four with eight laps complete. Terry, Bossard, Scott, Johnson and Rich Gardner were the top five. A near spin by Scott on lap nine cost him several spots and moved Chad Valone into the top five. Valone charged by Gardner on lap twelve. Last week’s winner Doug Eck took fifth from Gardner and began to battle Valone for the fourth spot. Bossard beat Terry to the line on lap eighteen to take over the top spot and move into lap traffic. Bossard took the white then the checkers winning his second of the year.
