Busti, NY: Un-seasonally warm weather on Seamens Auto Wrecking Night at Stateline Speedway was enjoyed by both racers and fans. Lester Shoff won his second Spectator feature of the season in a close race with Brandon Groters. Chris Ottaway led from the start to win his first Outlaw Cadet feature of the season. John Boardman came from twelfth to make it two in row in the Super Challenger division. Rod Maloy won a heated battle with Doug Eck for the Super Late Model feature. Mike Munsee came from fifteenth in a caution strewn E-Mod feature to win his first of the season. Jamie Hebner won the second Super Challenger feature and Rory Hauser won the first. Mary Lou Keith won the Lady Challenger feature.

Lester Shoff recovered from a qualifying race mishap to lead the first lap of the Spectator feature. A lap three incident in the exit of turn four collected Jason Seekings and Kyle Bradigan for the first yellow of the race. The second yellow appeared on the restart for Brian Wilson. Shoff, Brandon Groters and Aron Dascomb led after the restart. The third yellow occurred for Ken Lamp Jr. stopped in turn one. Shoff and Groters swapped the lead over the next couple of laps. Shoff used lap traffic to gain a slight advantage over Groters. With two laps remaining Groters trailed Shoff by several car lengths then Groters recovered to mount a challenge on the final lap but could not best Shoff.

Chris Ottaway was the early leader in the Outlaw Cadet feature with Brian Crandall Second. At the half way mark Ottaway led Crandall by ten car lengths with Paul Norman third and 2008 Champ Mike Moore fourth. The first yellow appeared for a car stopped up against the wall near the pit entrance with ten laps complete. Ottaway made it look easy as he won his first of the season by several car lengths.

Wade Watson led the first lap of the Super Sportsman feature. A lap two incident in turn three collected Mike Genco and Steve Kania. Watson continued as the race leader after the restart with Ben Burgess from his tenth starting spot in second. The yellow appeared on lap seven just as John Boardman joined the battle for the first spot. Boardman last weeks winner came from twelfth to challenge for the lead. Boardman was solidly in second on lap eight and began to run down the leader. Watson slowed on lap twelve allowing Boardman to gain the top spot and Joe Buccola Jr. also slipped by for second. Boardman led the final three circuits to win his second of the season.

Andy Kania led the Super Late Model feature to the green. John Volpe, Randy Lobb, Dick Barton, John Hedman and Dennis Lunger tangled in turn three on the first lap. Kania had lost the lead just before the caution so Doug Eck was the new leader. Eck, Rod Maloy and Darrell Bossard led lap two and again the yellow appeared this time for Lobb and Ryan Scott. Andy Boozel grabbed third on the restart and yellow three appeared for Lunger who had spun in turn two. Chris Hackett moved into fourth after the restart. Maloy got under Eck on lap nine and after contact Maloy became the new leader. Eck was also passed by Boozel on the same lap then tangled with Hackett for the fifth caution. Hackett contested his starting spot and was disqualified. Maloy, Boozel, Chad Valone and Barton were the race leaders. Eck returned to the speedway in what looked like an attempt to disrupt the leaders. Maloy and Boozel out distanced the field in the remaining laps giving Maloy his first win of the season.

A yellow marred the first and second attempted start of the E-Mod feature. Cale Crocker and Dan Nocero Jr. were in row one with Chuck Frye and Justin Carlson in row two. Lap one was completed on the third attempt with Crocker on the point. Nocero was second and Rich Michael Jr. third. Shane Crotty lost the handle in turn one for the third caution with three laps complete. Michaels gave was to Carlson on the restart and Greg Johnson. Johnson suffered a mechanical failure bringing out the yellow with five complete. Crocker, Carlson Michaels, Norman and Troy Carr were the restart leaders. Carr brought out the next yellow losing his fourth place spot. Crocker jumped a tractor tire used to mark the inside of the speedway bringing out the caution losing his top spot. Michaels was the new leader with Carlson second and Norman third. Mike Munsee made an appearance in the top three on lap twelve then one lap later the yellow flew for a spinner in turn three. Munsee grabbed second from Carlson on lap fifteen then one lap later another spin and caution. Michaels beat Munsee to turn one to led lap sixteen but Munsee fought back one lap later leading the event for the first time. Munsee was able to out distance Michaels and Carlson through the final laps getting his first win of the season.
