By Glenn Slocum

Busti, NY: Finnís Auto Sales, Magnum Graf-x and American Race Tires sponsored the events at Stateline Speedway featuring a Super Sportsman King of the Hill and a $4,000 to win Super Late Model feature. Super Sportsman point leader John Boardman won the King of the Hill qualifying besting Bob Hazzard in the final round. Mike Moore led every lap of the Outlaw Cadet feature extending his point lead and getting his fourth win of the season. Ben Burgess Jr. inherited the lead in the Super Sportsman feature then ran away from point leader Boardman to win his third feature of the season. Doug Eck captured the $4,000 Super Late Model feature event leading from lap four for his third win of the season, point leader Chad Valone was second. Rich Michael Jr. won his third E-Mod feature from his third starting spot. Damon Lewis won a yellow shortened Spectator feature for his second win of the season. Stephanie Hilyer won her seventh Lady Challenger feature. Joe Karash and Jimmy Diabo won the Super Challenger features.

Adam Hilyer and point leader Mike Moore were on the front row of the Outlaw Cadet feature. Moore led the first circuit with Hilyer second and Steve Moynihan third. Moynihan made a successful bid for second on lap five then one lap latter lost the spot to Chad Carlson. Carlson was dragging Paul Norman Jr.ís nose piece as he tried to catch Moore. With five laps remaining Moore led Carlson by half a straight and Moynihan trailed Carlson by ten car lengths. Carlson was unable to close with the high flying Moore giving Moore his fourth win of the season.

Jake Eller started second and led the first lap of the Super Sportsman feature with Ben Burgess Jr. second and Wade Watson third. Eller could not shake Burgess then on lap five Eller and Mike Genco tangled putting Genco into the back stretch fence, giving Eller a right rear flat and bringing out the caution flag. Burgess inherited the lead with Watson second followed by John Boardman, Dan Nocero Jr. and Ron Burgun. Burgess was fast on the restart and with ten laps complete led Boardman by twenty car lengths. Burgess ran the final five unchallenged for his third checkers of the season.

Darrell Bossard and point leader Chad Valone were on the front row of the $4,000 to win Super Late Model feature. Dick Barton and Doug Eck made up row tow. Valone crossed the line first on lap one with Barton second and Eck a very close third. Eck beat Barton into turn three on lap three to take the second spot just before the yellow flew for Scott Johnson and Wendell Pinckney in turn three. Valone, Eck, Barton, Bossard and Ed Carley were the top five for the restart. Doug Ricotta was sixth followed by Nathan Short, John Lobb, Rod Maloy and Andy Kania. Eck led lap four but a multi-car spin between turns three and four brought out the second caution. Pinckney, Pete Alspaugh, Chris Hackett, Maloy and Scott Gurdak were all involved in the incident. Eck controlled the restart and Valone fell back several car lengths to second with Barton third and Carley fourth. Eck was running high with Valone in the middle groove. Carley and Barton ran side by side for several circuits but Barton retained the spot. With fifteen laps remaining Eck had extended his lead and was approaching lap traffic. Eck ran lap seventeen in lap traffic allowing Valone to slightly close the gap. With ten to go it was Eckís race to lose and Valone seemed unable to close. Eck easily controlled the rest of the event for his third win of the season and the $4,000 first place prize.

Jason Genco was the early leader of the E-Mod feature with Rich Michael Jr. second. Michaels wasted no time passing Genco on lap four to lead the event. With five laps complete Nathan Short spun for the first caution. The second yellow occurred on the restart for Michael McGee and Andy Loomis. Yellow number three appeared with eight laps complete as Shane Crotty spun to stop in turn two. One more lap was competed before yellow number four this time for Jeremy Bucktooth. Several cars tangled on lap ten which ended with Anthony Marotto stopped in turn two and caution number five in as many laps. Wayne Mohawk, Loomis and Bucktooth were involved in a back stretch tangle for caution six on the restart. Three more laps were completed then yellow seven for Crotty and Brian Fardink. The lap fourteen restart was single file with Michael, Genco and John Woodward Jr. the leaders. Bucktooth had more problems with fifteen laps complete for the eighth caution. The final five were run caution free giving Michael his third win.

Jason Seekings crossed the line first to lead lap one of the Spectator feature as the yellow flew for Brian Wilson and Matt Harvey stopped in turn four. Stan Davis Jr. used the restart to grab the top spot. Berton Chappel, Gary Fisher, Brandon Pierce, Damian Bidwell and Kevin Golden caused caution number two with three laps complete. Rob Brown brought out caution three with four laps complete. Damon Lewis became the new leader then one lap later Chad Schauers and early leader Seekings spun for caution four and officials started counting the yellow laps. The green came out with seven laps compete with Lewis the leader followed by Davis, Kevin Hill and Brandon Groters from his twentieth starting spot. Groters took third on lap ten and the yellow reappeared caused once more by Schauers. Lap twelve was run under yellow. Lewis took the two to go and as the white flew John Britt spun ending the race under yellow with Lewis getting his second win of the season.
