RULES
ALL DRIVERS MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OLD AS OF SEPT 3RD TO COMPETE
Anyone under 18 must have signed release prior to admission to pits

  1. Any stock car can be used, including station wagons. All station wagons will compete in one qualifying demo. There will be a special heat for all compact cars and all cars that have been run in any previous demos. We will TRY to keep them all together. Cars that are welded solid will NOT be permitted to run. All cars must have stock suspension. All bumpers MUST be chained to frame.
  2. Doors must be strapped, chained or welded shut. If hard-top, doors must be secured to the door posts. All chrome moldings and sharp hood ornaments must be removed.
  3. All glass must be removed, including headlamps, tail lights, marker lights, and windshield. Cars with broken glass inside door panels will not be permitted to run. All dirt and loose pieces must be swept out of car and trunk area.
  4. A 16" hole MUST be cut in hood area over the air cleaner in case of fire.
  5. NO cooling systems allowed in the driver’s compartment.
  6. All trailer hitches must be removed including any hitch brackets.
  7. Battery, solenoid and voltage regulators may be relocated under the hood ahead of the firewall.
  8. NO BATTERIES ALLOWED IN DRIVER’S COMPARTMENT OR TRUNK.
  9. Hood and trunk must be held down by any other method, other than stock latches or locks and accessible to track officials and firemen.
  10. All drivers must wear approved crash helmet and must have a safety belt, which is well secured. If car is rusted, a plate must be welded where belt is attached.
  11. Both front doors must be painted white and be free of all lettering. PLEASE HAVE YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME PAINTED ON ROOF OF CAR.
  12. MANDATORY LIMIT OF FOUR (4) GALLONS OF GAS. Fuel tank may be placed inside trunk area, but not allowed ahead of rear axle. Tank must be secured and metal firewall must be in place to seal off the tank from the driver’s area. All tanks must have extra straps. In station wagons, the gas tank may go where the 9th passenger seat would be, but not ahead of the rear axle. Gas tanks will be checked at the end of race. NO FUEL LINE ALLOWED INSIDE DRIVER’S COMPARTMENT. Any car leaking fuel will be disqualified.
  13. NO double tires, LT tires or loaded tires. Any 12", 13", 14", or 15" tires may be run. NO 16" tires. Tires and wheels must be stock passenger. Low profile 16" tires allowed.
  14. Cars must remain near factory ride height. Suspension must be stock, not welded solid.
  15. MANDATORY – All drivers must wear long sleeve cotton clothes or coveralls. Suggest fire suits if possible. NO NYLON socks, underwear, etc.
  16. NO station wagons will be allowed in the feature. Everyone who qualifies for the feature is responsible for finding their own car.
  17. ALL CARS must remain in the pits until after the feature is over. Pay-offs will be right after the feature.
